You made it! This is Dott Photography's new Photo Blog and here I will post the updates on all the exciting projects and events I have an honor to shoot.
This blog was created to showcase the latest work in Portrait, Commercial, Children's, Family and Wedding Photography that I do mostly here in Las Vegas. I also specialize in Modern Boudoir Photography, so ladies make sure to check out my "I see Sexy" blog and website www.IseeSexy.com for Boudoir gallery and updates.
Take a look at my work, and please drop me a line if you have any comments ;).
Introducing the fabulous chef Sam DeMarco with FIRST Food and Bar in Palazzo, Las Vegas. First of all, I wanted to invite everyone to check it out! It is located inside the Palazzo, right above Walgreens right off the Las Vegas Blvd. It is a modern fusion cuisine, with super fun and modern interior and music and crew that is fun and creative. Both food and Bar areas are worth checking out! So if you are local or you are out of town and are in search of a cool place to hang out, drink and eat: make sure to stop by and check this place out yourself…
So on to the pictures. Keep it Hot is chef’s slogan and I think it definitely shows
It is so scary to realize how fast time goes. I met Katie seems like a year ago to discuss her plans for her wedding. And here we are: Katie and Ryan are married. They are such a cool couple! Young, cool, and so in love. Everything took place at Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas and you could just feel the youth in the air! Ryan’s and Katie’s best friends were just a burst to their personalities and fired up some cool dance moves on the dance floor :). Enjoy…
P.S.: Special Thanks to the talented Joey Allen for assisting me shooting Katie and Ryan, his work is featured down here too…
Happy V-Day to ALL and I hope you are not reading this on the 14th (if you know what I mean ;)). Anyways cake above is from my first wedding of the season (Congrats Katie and Ryan!) shot last night, so it was kind of appropriate to take this LOVEly shot for more than one reasons Stay tuned for their wedding pics and of course… LOVE to ALL!
Just an update of my favorite job to do, after parenthood of course ;). With all the holidays and our New Years family trip to Hawaii, I completely forgot to blog my favorite family sessions’ teasers. Remember Heather I did the maternity session for? Well, baby Jade is now almost 7 months old, and I did a mini session with him and his beautiful family at the Palazzo, while they visited Las Vegas before the New Years’ Day. He is absolutely adorable and has the best sense of humor! I saw one of his home videos, where he giggles for like a minute, so I think he’s up for the good start in life ;). Thank you guys for letting me be a part of your life at such important stages of your life! Baby Jade:
And also, if you are planing a wedding and are a fun and fabulous couple, make sure to check out Alan’s Blog, very funky, informative and super creative, and maybe Alan could design something fun and fabulous for you guys? I love his work, because of its simplicity, strong point and sense of humor in everything he does. Oh, and feel free to check out the process of making their Love me Tender goodie boxes - Vegas style…
And last but certainly not least, I had a quick early morning session today with Kelly and Tim and I wanted to show off the youngest member of their family: baby Kodi. She is so adorable and I can’t wait to photograph them all again later this fall!
B.L.H.R. - WOW!!! We are lucky to know this handsome couple....
You're photos are breathtaking and the colors are so alive. You truly captured the two of them! Beautiful!

Well, lots of stuff is awaiting for me within the next couple of weeks. I don’t want to jinx the things that haven’t happened yet, but I wanted to share the excitement I got from my trip to San Francisco. I truly LOVE this city and I keep falling in love every time I come here (yep, I am still here and flying back to Las Vegas tomorrow morning). It is the most European city I have visited in the US. With all its cafes, small little shops and unpredictable weather, lots of walking involved and fast pace and rude drivers ;), it instantly reminded me of my home :)… I noticed all the beautiful surroundings, grunge and urbanism in downtown area and just wanted to take advantage of all this beauty. We had a basic camera and a basic zoom lens ( I’d prefer prime lenses for this type of shoot), but I just couldn’t let this beauty go without a shot :). We invaded one of the children’t boutiques here in SF and ought a cute outfit for my little girl and went for it. Here is just a preview of our session today…
This weekend was full of events. It was my husband’s Bday and his family came to Las Vegas from all over the country to support his talented and beautiful niece Raquel in Tahitian Dance Competition. I have never been to the event like that before and I think it was beautifully put together and gathered a lot of talented people. I wanted to share just a simple glance into the day (actually it was like half of the day since we have a 3 year old that takes naps :)) and maybe incline you to join us to this festival next year. I swear if you are tired of Cirque du Soleil shows and impersonators in this town, this would be a nice change. Lots of Pacific fun, food, LOVE and Aloha guaranteed…
Here I wanted to share just a glance into this year’s Tahitian Dance Competition that took place here in Las Vegas. It is officially called Kori Kori Tahiti Fete and it was only the second time it was held. THere were groups from all over the country and beyond: Mexico, Hawaii, Utah, California are only a sample of places where all the participants came from. It was great, and definitely different from what we are used to see here in Las Vegas, so I hope you guys spread the word and maybe next year it will be something bigger and lots more Las Vegans would come to see this spectacular show! See ya in 2010!
Love, Olga

Zinchuk Studios - I would have loved to have seen that! My university actually has a luau every year, and I did the 'tahitian' dance my senior year. . . I was so proud of dancing in a coconut bra ;) Maybe I'll find an excuse to come out next year--sounds like fun!
Dottphotography - Hee heee Jenny, I am guessing it is you and not Alex ;). Absolutely, it wasn't marketed too good, and I think there were only families of contestants in the auditorium, so I hope it will become a much bigger event next year! Hope to see ya next year :)! or sooner...
